Help with the Zoomify EZ Viewer
The Zoomify EZ Viewer uses Adobe Flash and enables large or high resolution images to be viewed on the Web using an ordinary Browser where network bandwidth is limited or available screen real-estate is cramped. The Viewer is easy and safe to use; so here's a short guide to help you...
This image shows the Zoomify EZ Viewer displaying a picture of a group of Sand Pipers. At the foot of the image is the Zoomify Toolbar, which contains eight controls:
- Triangle symbol:
- Zoom slider; slide it to the right to increase the zoom factor and to the left to decrease the amount of zoom.
- Plus sign:
- Increase zoom; click on the plus sign to zoom into the image.
- Minus sign:
- Decrease zoom; click on the minus sign to zoom out of the image.
- Left arrow:
- Pan left; move the view port to the left.
- Up arrow:
- Pan up; move the view port up.
- Down arrow:
- Pan down; move the view port down.
- Right arrow:
- Pan right; move the view port to the right.
- Circle and arrow:
- Reset view; restore the image to its original size and position.
Finally, click and hold the mouse's left button anywhere on the image to start moving the image about the Viewer interactively.
